Biography

Melissa Thompson (Anni-Frid) is the founding member of Chiquititas.
She began her musical career at the tender age of 17.
It all began when she gained the opportunity to work in Germany as a session singer.
From there she went on to record many songs as a session vocalist.
Winning a talent contest in 2006 she was offered the fantastic opportunity to sing live at the euro 96 England V.s Germany match held at Wembley stadium where she sang in front of thousands of football fans. This gave her a real taste for live performance.
She then went on to tour the u.k and perform with the famous ro ... ck and roll circus, “The circus of horrors” where she played a leading roll as “Pandemonium” an evil sidekick to the ring master “dok Haze”.
Melissa has worked all over the world with covers bands, on cruise ships, and worked extensively with Abba Tribute Shows, and is excited to bring her experience to chiquititas.
Nikki Johnson (Agnetha) began performing at the age of 5 and quickly found her voice! She began singing professionally at the age of 15 and has spent many years working in the live music industry as a solo performer, in duets and bands. She has also danced professionally, plays keyboard and runs a performing arts training company for children. She has spent a number of years working in Abba Tribute bands, taking both the part of Frida and Agnetha. She is excited about working with Chiquititas as Agnetha.
Chiquititas put on a fabulous show with stunning vocals, Dazzling costumes and exciting dance routines. Offering to learn a song for a special occasion to really put a personal touch to your evening.
