“A Public Saxophone and Other Bedtime Stories” combines my abilities as a saxophonist/vocalist/multi-instrumentalist over well-known songs, with storytelling/comedy, and a multi-media PowerPoint presentation to create a unique multi-faceted experience. It’s a collection of quirky travel stories from my life-growing up in Alaska, moving to Argentina, and travelling to 70 different countries over 10 years while touring and working on cruise ships. I have been performing my variety show on Norwegian Cruise Line for the past two years. It was very well received, what Sharon Wilkins called
... “a tour de force of entertainment”, and many passengers said was “the best show on the ship”. It’s designed as a mainstage act, but also works great in a supper club or smaller venue. It’s 45 minutes. It’s ready to go with great charts and click tracks for the band. I can also perform it in Spanish if needed. I can also perform it with tracks in the case that a band is not available.

My second show, “Just Sax”, is dance-oriented pop music fronted a saxophone, featuring artists such as Stevie Wonder, Lady Gaga, The Beatles, and Katy Perry. It’s intended for an atrium or similar venue where dancing is allowed. It’s 50 minutes. It’s also ready to go with charts, and can be performed with tracks in the case that a band is not available.

Biography
In the years spanning junior high and high school, Cooper had a friendly but serious competition with a friend over who could be the best musician, and who could play the most instruments. This resulted in Cooper being able to effectively play multiple instruments, such as sax, keyboard, flute, bass, harmonica, and vocals. Cooper went on to study at the Berklee College of Music, majoring in recording and arranging but also studying sax, bass, and piano, in addition to other areas of focus. Cooper graduated from Berklee with a degree in Contemporary Writing and Production in 2009.

... r co-founded the trio Samsaya in Buenos Aires in 2012, where he was able to use all of his doubling abilities on various instruments and plenty of experience as an entertainer.
Following this, in 2016 he became a performer saxophonist in For The Record: The Brat Pack with For The Record Live on the Norwegian Escape.
On the NCL Escape Cooper performed his cabaret show entitled A Public Saxophone and Other Bedtime Stories weekly for a period of two years. He also performed his second show, Just Sax. A Public Saxophone and Other Bedtime Stories became a ship favorite and got great reviews from the passengers, often saying that it was the “best show on the ship”. Cooper’s show is ready to go with great charts.

I worked with Cooper White onboard the Norwegian Escape overseeing shows for the Supper Club. Cooper came to our venue to perform his show for our guests. Working directly with him and his musicians to produce this unique show, I found the experience very pleasurable. His unique artistic style was not only refreshing to our club, but thrilling for the audience. What makes him stand out from every other artist is his storytelling ability through his world experience and musical style. I watched a normally quiet audience stay focused and get really into it, they would not leave their seats until his much-deserved standing ovation.
Working with Cooper is also a unique experience. He knows what he wants to convey onstage but always keeps an open mind to everyone on the team. As a manager and producer, this rare combination is a breath of fresh air in our business.
