Biography

Sora Contemporary Circus is an ensemble of performance artists who specialize in cirque-style entertainment & aerial theatre. Sora Contemporary Circus was founded by Artistic Director, Jessica Jay Johnson in 2017. We provide cirque-style corporate entertainment for a wide variety of events and venues, providing entertainment value of the highest quality. We work to transform events into awe-inspiring experiences using stunning visuals, stylized choreography, and atmospheric, ethereal beauty.

Experience

Since 2017, Sora Contemporary Circus has performed around the country for events, theatrical productions, and nightlife entertainment. Our director, Jessica Jay, has been coaching aerial artists for over 10 years. Our performers have experience in aerial acrobatics such as silks, sling, lyra, trapeze, rope, straps, and chains and perform in disciplines like dance, acrobatics, contortion, hand-balancing, fire performance, flow arts, and clowning.

After seeing her perform several times, I knew having Jessica perform at my wedding would be so much fun and such a great surprise for our guests!
