We are an extremely versatile and experienced trio of entertainers with an extensive repertoire of music and songs spanning the last 7 decades. We are all competent singers and vocally very strong and good with harmony work.
The trio is perfectly suited for any and all types of music ranging from quiet pre-dinner cocktail music through to high energy dance music and everything else in between.
We have also worked as a jazz trio and are very familiar with all the jazz standards. Our dedication to our profession is high and we are continuously improving our music performance standards .

Garth Victor Erasmus Resume
1990 - 1993 Garth Victor Erasmus joined TFC Cruiselines as MUSICAL DIRECTOR and BAND LEADER aboard the AGEAN DOLPHIN for Dolphin Hellas Cruisers in Athens. Then aboard the ACHILLE LAURO in the same post. Worked aboard the cruise ship the SYMPHONY as entertainment duo in the entertainment lounge. Same post on board the RHAPSODY cruising the Mediterranean and Indian Oceans.
1995 - 2006 Worked as a freelance Recording Session musician on TV and radio writing and arranging music for many local Jazz and Pop artistes. Played in various clubs and venues such as
... Katzys cigar bar at the Hyatt Hotel in Rosebank Johannesburg. Garth was also as member of Blue Velvet, one of Johannesburg’s top bands. He played with his trio at the famous Kennedy Cigar Bar & Jazz Lounge in Long Street Cape Town.
Training: -
Studied piano and voice at the Winfield Music Academy in East London. Courses including light jazz and contemporary pop music.
Seven year hands-on arranger and music production course at professional studios in Johannesburg.
Vast experience and knowledge of various computer based music production systems. Specializing in Steinberg Cubase V.S.T.
Garth is a very professional serious and experienced musician whose musical Repertoire covers absolutely all styles from Light Classics, Broadway Shows, Jazz to Latin, sophisticated music to Rock & Roll and all the pop classics. You name it, he plays it. He finished a 5 month contract opening the new Hilton Hefei Hotel in China 2006 and was then the musical director of the Barnyard Boma Theatre during 2007 running the 7-piece band.
During 2008 Garth performed at the Kempinski Ajman and then took a 4-piece band to the Djibouti Palace, Kempinski. He finished the contract as a duo (piano and vocals) at the end of May 2009 (2 years in Djibouti).
In 2010 he performed at the Emirates Palace, Kempinski, Abu Dhabi, UAE where he was band leader as well as being in charge of all 10 musicians and entertainers performing in the Hotel for 4 months.
He was withdrawn to be free to perform at Kilimanjaro Kempinski, Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania with Helene Joseph.
On finishing the contract they re-formed Midnight Blue with Helene Joseph & 3 other musicians.
This band opened the Downtown Bar at the Intercontinental Regency Hotel Bahrain where they performed from 1 March 2011 until Ramadan end July 2011.
During 2012 Garth performed as a duo at the Hemmingways Bar at the Hilton Abu Dhabi.
From November 2013 to mid 2015 Garth worked as cocktail pianist/vocalist in the Burlington Men's Club at the Ritz Carlton hotel in Manama Bahrain.
Garth completed a 4 month contract aboard the Silver Spirit cruise ship in 2015 as Jazz pianist and accompanist at the Stars Supper Club.
2016 He worked on board the vessel MSC Symphonia as part of a duo with Maryjane Zimri in the ships dance club. More recently Garth has been employed with his trio on board M/V Seabourn Quest and Seabourn Oddessy, cruising the Med and more recently the Antarctic.
