Anna has a diverse repertoire, that spans from the 1950s to current chart tunes, encompassing pop, country, ballad, rock genres. Her covers are unique, as she changes them up being a self-accompanist. She has a recent approach of "Jukebox" style, where she crafts completely original medleys with well-known songs. Along with the addition of a bass drum, Anna can 'up' the tempo for a party sound, or 'mellow-it-down' for a nice, calm, serene setting - piano lounge style.

Biography

Coming from a classically trained background, Anna has spent the last twelve years refining her musicianship with a heightened focus on piano and vocal disciplines.
Qualified under the Associated Board of the Royal School of Music, Anna completed her practice in both instruments and furthered her study at King’s College London, graduating with a Music degree in 2019. During that time, her vocal studies were enhanced by tutors from the Royal Academy of Music and her classical repertoire expanded. Annual recitals required a coherent and well-constructed programme of works to perform for ass ... essment, including Arias, Lieders, and Classical songs from highly reputable composers; Roger Quilter, Joseph Haydn, Vaughan Williams, Robert Schumann, Franz Schubert etc.

In conjunction with her classical trajectory, Anna has developed her interest and skillset for popular and contemporary musical style. Performing songs from the mid-twentieth century such as Elvis Presley and Patsy Cline to current mainstream popular music of Shakira and Ed Sheeran, Anna has defined herself as a versatile performer in many different capacities. Her covers are crafted in a unique style, and Anna has a "jukebox" approach to some of her sets, with her medleys that blend unlikely (but ear-catching) songs together. Having the experience of performing contrasting repertoires, Anna has established a strong and confident profile as a performer and a musician, with the ability to alter her programmes/set-lists to cater for her audiences/clients and interact with them, effectively.
The hybridity of both her Classical and Popular music interests coalesced at an early stage in her learning development and initiated her flair and desire to song-write from a young age. Since, her original songs have been performed at concerts, in competitions and have inspired her to audition for Britain’s Got Talent and The Voice in the past. Songwriting also became a fuelling force behind her motivation to take up new instruments independently, which has consequently expanded the dimension of her performances. Her latest venture is saxophone, which could be making an experience in future sets - most likely!

Experience

Anna has performed at private client events. For weddings, Anna has done the ceremony - singing the hymns and the Psalms, as well as the drinks reception on keys - mellow/background music, and also the Wedding party - with full band and playlist-ing in-between. Similarly, Anna has liaised with clients and priests for the preparation and selection of songs suitable for Christenings, Marriage Vowel Renewals and also Funerals. Consequently, from the latter she has also played Wakes.
Anna has experience also playing Wedding Anniversary parties, Birthday parties, Charity events and performed at th ... e Harlow Community and Business Awards Ceremony in 2021. During the pandemic, Anna organised a number of live-stream virtual events independently and through music agencies, such as HOTVOX, which had a great coverage and following.
She has been requested for Shop-openings, to play on the launch, and has also played work Christmas and Summer parties.

Acting Experience

Anna has auditioned for the Lion King Musical, for Chorus, back in 2019.
Anna was also a lead in King's College's mid-term "Title of Show" where she played Heidi (originally played by Heidi Blickenstaff) - a lesser known to the UK audiences, "off-broadway" show, in the Bush House Theatre at the Aldwych, London.
