Bob Marley was a very famous Jamaican reggae singer, songwriter and guitarist who rose to fame originally in the early 1960’s as part of the group “The Wailers”. Reggae music became very popular around this time and after just over ten years of performing together, the band split and Bob Marley started his own solo career after relocating to England. He quickly grew his following with his mellow and relaxing tunes gaining him the status of one of the World’s best-selling artists of all time. Popular hits such as “Jamming” and “One Love” were part of a massive collection of hit singles and Bob Marley continued with his successful career until unfortunately in 1981 passed away after illness.
