Biography

One of the most diverse artists of today, Alicia Tennant, is acclaimed for her commanding voice, superb musicianship and elegant stage presence. Alicia sings in a four octave range in Italian, German, French, Latin and Spanish. Alicia studied Music/Vocal performance at Southern University of Baton Rouge, LA with a 4 year scholarship and the University of Louisiana at Monroe with the legendary Dr. Louis Nabors. This unique artist embraces different genres of music from Opera to gospel and has been featured on commercials, films and movie soundtracks.
She has performed with the Los Angele ... s Metropolitan Opera, Louisiana Lyric Opera, Colburn School of Music as well as other productions in LA and New York. She has graced many stages singing in operas and concerts throughout the U.S. and Italy receiving rave reviews from her performances in leading roles such as “The Marriage of Figaro” as Susana, “The Magic Flute”, “Porgy and Bess” and many others. Alicia also won first place in the regional N.A.T.S (National Association of Teachers & Singers) competition.
What makes this artist so unique is her ability to connect with people regardless of the genre of music on an international level.  As an inspirational singer/songwriter her goal is to uplift your spirit.
