I offer a full range of music and lighting services for private events, corporate events, clubs, nightclubs, festivals, bars, parties and special events. I am a multi-genre DJ and have experience since 2007 in all of these areas.

Biography

I am a DJ from Newark Ohio. I started my career under a mentor at OHIO University. I started doing bars and house parties. I have now done every event you can think of and now I DJ and tour full-time. I am a multi-genre DJ and I play whatever the client needs as far as music. My genres that I love are EDM and Hip-hop. Communication is important to me from start to finish. I would love to work with you and your event.

DJ Matt did a great job entertaining the guests at my wedding. He played songs that everyone could enjoy and even joined the dance floor a few times! Would definitely recommend him if you are looking for a DJ.

Leading up to our wedding, Matt was always quick to respond to any questions we had and was very accommodating. He was professional through the whole process. The wedding was a blast with him leading the party! He nailed all the announcements and really knew how to read the room when it came to music choices. Not to mention, he kills it on the dance floor! We would highly recommend Matt Simmers to anyone needing a DJ for their event.

DJ Simmerz was everything we could have asked for in a DJ and more, for our wedding. From the very beginning we had a fantastic experience with him meeting over Zoom to discuss what we wanted. He was quick to respond through text, and made sure we got exactly what we wanted from his services on the day of. He even went above and beyond a few times by bringing his own tent in case of rain, and busting a few moves on the dance floor with the guests to keep the party going. Matt was the perfect DJ for our event and I could say hundreds of good things about our experience working with him. Not only was he professional, punctual, and a high quality DJ, but he was also so well worth what we paid for his services. Sadly, I didn’t get any photos of DJ Simmerz directly, but as you can see by the attached photos- he made sure everyone had a great time. Thank you so much!!!!
