I am a London based freelance drummer comfortable playing within most genres including Rock, Blues, R&B, Jazz, Latin, Reggae, and Country with my favourites being Neo Soul, Funk, Hip Hop and Disco.
I am comfortable playing in any scenario and am able to use sample pads, backing tracks and click tracks live.
Playing to click live or in the studio is something i do very well and I am also comfortable sight reading.
I am very professional and always work to the highest standard possible with over 6 years of experience drumming professionally.

Artist Biography - Joey Robbins
By the age of 11, Joey became the youngest person in the UK to achieve Grade 8 drums with a distinction. Whether it's performing at hundreds of venues across the UK, Playing for TV sessions, recording music videos, or laying down solid drum tracks for numerous artists in the studio, Joey approaches all work with great confidence and optimism.
Born In rural South West Wales, Joey began drumming at the age of 6 building an incredibly diverse and personal taste in music with strong influences coming from early Hip-Hop, R&B/Soul, Rock, Jazz, Funk and Disco. To ... gether forming the foundation for the musician he is today.
Joey Is a very well experienced drummer in the industry racking up hundreds of hours' worth of TV and Studio recording sessions with his playing being aired on the majority of UK Radio stations including BBC Radio 1 as well as many other stations across the world.
Touring as part of a band is also very familiar to Joey. Supporting the world famous 'Super Furry Animals' on their UK tours as well as 'From the Jam' and playing in venues such as The London Roundhouse, Motorpoint Arena Cardiff, Kelvingrove Bandstand, and numerous O2 Institutes around the UK. Playing to, and controlling backing tracks with click for live performances, adapting to live situations and last-minute changes, using electronics such as sample pads, as well as performing in high capacity venues are all things that Joey takes in his stride.
Joey is currently Studying at the Institute of Contemporary Music Performance (ICMP) in London, constantly homing in on his craft and becoming a better player, doing studio sessions and live performances for other students and artists outside of the institute weekly.
