Hello, my name is Robert Powell. I am also known in certain circles as 'Bongo Bobby'. I Provide World Class Interactive Entertainment playing Conga and various hand percussion in Washington DC's most exclusive nightlife venues, weddings and private events. I've logged over 500 shows in the past 5 years performing as a conguero. People love when I play. My successes include; A residency at The Huxley DC (2013-16), Bar&Nightclub Magazine’s 2014 ‘Best New Concept’ winner; resident at Cities Nightclub (2016); Open and closing act for The Washington Center Gala 2017 at The National Building Museum, televised on Bravo! Currently you can find me playing The Living Room DC for their bustling Latin Fridays. Also I'll be playing in Sterling, VA. 12/1, and the prestigious West 15th St. Sky Bridge in NYC 12/7!
