Joseph Kearns and Olivia Romeo are two very experienced performers that met while working aboard the Disney Fantasy. The pair knew that they had a unique sound, and so they began to collaborate, building up a large repertoire. With an average of 3-4 gigs a week in Ireland, these passionate performers are receiving a lot of positive attention and quickly building a following of fans.
New York native Olivia Romeo is a performing arts graduate from Stephens College in Columbia, MO that has worked throughout the states, singing, dancing, and acting. From performing in summer stock theatre w ... ork in Okoboji, Iowa to work-shopping off Broadway productions in NYC to gigging extensively in Westchester County, Olivia has worked extremely hard to hone her musical craft. She has studied vocal techniques for 7 years with vocal coach Nancy Theeman and also jazz vocals with Tom Andes. Most recently, Olivia worked as a performer for Disney Cruise Line, where she met musician Joe Kearns.
Hailing from Ireland, Joe has been playing regular gigs around Europe for 8 years. He has frequent media attention both in Ireland and also in cities such as Montreal, Canada . He was voted number 1 out of ten 'New Acts to Follow' by renowned journalist Tony Clayton-Lea of The Irish Times. Joe performed for two months at sea with Disney to great response, both from the company and cruisers who still email him.
Joe and Olivia perform almost every genre during their sets, with each gig lasting up to 2.5-3 hours. The two not only use their charismatic energy to capture the attention of their audience but also their smart musicianship, which helps them gauge what the crowd wants to hear. With an ever-increasing arsenal of tunes in their repertoire, Joe and Olivia strive to move their audiences, to make them dance, cry, or simply be moved.
