Lazure music offer their services as a jazz duo for ongoing contract work at your hotel, cruise line or agency. The style can be briefly summarised as a unique, tasteful, original classic sound. This is achieved through a combination of strong female vocals and acoustic nylon string guitar as accompaniment. Ideal for a cocktail bar, dinner services or special party/corporate event.
Caterina brings strong experience as she has been performing professionally from a very young age, throughout her career she has always worked as a fulltime musician and songwriter. Extensive live experience has al ... lowed her to develop strong stage presence and improvisation techniques, bringing excitement and originality to each performance.
Robin brings a strong base from his background of classical, playing in ensembles including orchestral, jazz and theatre performances. This brings structure and compliments Caterina’s vocal style.

Biography

Caterina and Robin have trained with some of the very best and performed with other musical projects anything from wineries, smoky jazz bars to a lazy Sunday afternoon city council gig in the sunshine on the esplanade. It was inevitable that sooner or later, now in their late 20s Caterina and Robin would come together to form Lazure to share their favourite songs from artists that they admire and adore to audiences around the globe.
Lazure's musical influences include Aretha Franklin, Jobim, Tedeschi Trucks band, Louis Armstrong, just to name a few.
