'Mixed Blessings', featuring Sophie on vocals and Dennis on keyboard, are a highly experienced act, who perform both acoustically (vocals and keyboard) and as a hi-tech duo (vocals, keyboard and backing tracks). Their repertoire of several hundred songs from the 1960s to the present day, ranges from ballads to pop/rock/disco classics.
'Mixed Blessings' have performed throughout the UK and Europe in a wide variety of venues, at weddings, parties and hotels, as well as recently, on-board a Brittany Ferries ship.

Biography

Both Sophie and Dennis are trained musicians/performers. Sophie studied singing at the Academy of Contemporary Music, Guildford, Surrey where she gained a First Class Honours degree, whilst Dennis also obtained a First Class Honours degree in Music and a piano diploma from Trinity College of Music, London.
Since leaving their respective academic institutions, both Sophie and Dennis have performed hundreds of gigs as soloists and in bands leading to the formation of 'Mixed Blessings' over 3 years ago.
