The Kiwis are an acoustic duo overflowing with energy and enthusiasm. They first came together, in Brighton, England, two years ago in August 2016. Since then they have played in a variety of situations from weddings to small parties. They play a selection of popular covers from the sixties to today, including everything from The Beatles and Stevie Wonder, to Ed Sheeran and Amy Winehouse.
They are diverse in their styles ranging from rock and upbeat party songs to more relaxed and easy listening genres and are able to adapt seamlessly to any situation. Whether entertaining your guests over a

Biography
About the Members:
Ellen Walker
Ellen was born in England but immigrated to New Zealand in 1999. Always passionate about music and singing, Ellen grew up playing several instruments and sung in choirs since age 9. After leaving school she went onto study popular music as a Vocalist at the CPIT Jazz School in Christchurch, New Zealand, in 2012.
In 2015 she returned to England and played as a soloist until joining The Kiwis a year later. Ellen loves to perform and nothing brings her greater pleasure than connecting with her audience. She has a unique style and her voice is unforgettable in it

Jake Wharton
Jake started his music career early. From the age of 14 he had already started gigging in a 50s rock and roll band. Jake has played festivals and parties and has now found his place with the kiwis. At the age of 11 Jake began to teach himself guitar, he has always been passionate about music and was inspired by prominent guitarists such as Jimmy Page. He then furthered his studies at Sussex Downs College in Eastbourne, England in 2013.
Jake is always happiest when he is playing. He is a strong vocalist and provides rich tones with his backing vocals, and some lead. Young and enthusiastic, he always brings a high level of energy to his performance.
