Biography

I am a writer/singer/actor/entertainer. I am the jack of all treys and the master of some. At the age 0f seven I knew that I wanted to be a singer. I made my first guitar out of a 2x4 and hay strings. I established my first band at age 14 and by the time I was 18, I was doing professional shows. By the age 21 I was the back up band for Rufus Thomas, William Bell, Joe Simon, Nancy Butts, and opening for acts such as: Betty Wright, Tyrone Davis, Full Force, to name a few. I was tutored by James Brown for two (2) years to learn the format of writing lyrics of songs. Experience

A Veteran Professional singer/entertainer. A seven (7) time winner at the world famous Apollo theater. Of which three (3) of those times were first place. Performed all around the country and abroad to present. Performed for First lady Hillary Clinton's Charity Banquet in 1995 and for President William (Bill) Clinton's inauguration in 1996. Performed through out Las Vegas Casino Show Rooms from 1992 to 1997. Performed at the Sahara Congo Show room for 10 years in the Coaster/Drifters and Platters show. I am on the board of WestCare For Women and Children and The Special Angel Program.
