I'm very outgoing and love to laugh. Having fun is really important to me and I love for those around me to be having fun too. Nothing is so serious that we can't have fun while we're doing it is my motto.
A favorite memory for me is when I boarding a ship early one morning and we learned that we (guest entertainers) weren't supposed to be there that early in the morning. The HR person assigned to us was visibly annoyed by having to deal with these "singers." As we followed her to the elevator, I said loud enough for her to hear, "It's too early in the morning for all this annoyance with li ... fe" When we reached the elevator, I said to her directly, "You know what? We should all start over. Let's hug it out!" I then gave her a huge hug. She was definitely NOT expecting that and awkwardly accepted. LOL!
A few months later, I need help resolving an issue with my account on the ship. Weeks went by and no one was able to sort it out. She finally called me back into her office. As she looked at my account further, she looked at me and said, " You all are really the BEST cast we've ever had on the ship! You are all so nice!"
It was that moment in our first few hours of the ship that had made her my advocate. That impression lasted all those months with her. I know if I hadn't stepped out and melted that barrier in the beginning of our contract, that beautiful moment never would have happened. I love making people happy :) Read More
