Biography

I was born in a Town called Paarl in the Western Cape in South Africa and I grew up in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe and in Benoni, South Africa.
My passion and love for music started at a young age. I was always singing and acting around the house and putting on little shows for my parents. I have always enjoyed Music and Music has always been in my family. I was introduced from Rock n' Roll to Opera by my Mother. She got me listening to Andrew Lloyd Webber's Musical's growing up, which I thoroughly enjoyed, especially Phantom of the Opera, to this day the Phantom of the Opera has been my all tim ... e favourite Musical, along with Grease and Moulin Rouge and others, too many to mention. I have always like learning different Musical Instruments; such as Recorder, Flute, Guitar and Piano.
My Grandfather was in a Jazz band, he played Bass, Double Bass, Piano, Guitar and the Concertina - which is a Traditional Instrument in the Afrikaans Culture of South Africa. He played by ear and never read music but taught himself chords. My Uncle sang Tenor and my Mothers Two Sisters sing in the Cape Town Philamonia Choir, one of my Mothers Sister's is also a Pianist and a Piano Teacher.
After school I knew that I had a talent for Music and that Music was what I wanted to do as a career, so I too up singing lessons and recently have obtained my Grade 8 in Classical singing Performance and a Grade 5 in Music Theory.
Music Speaks to me and I feel it, I put all my emotion into a song, it comes from the heart. I have always been interested in anything to do with music, it has always been a big part of my life. Read More

I have a Grade 8 in Classical Singing Performance and a Grade 5 in Music Theory. I have sung at a Wedding, and at the Barn Yard Theatre.
