Biography

Ohio bred soul singer Cierra Shantelle Howard, better known as Charlie has been on a quest for the better part of her life to infect the world with an incomparable God given voice. From early on Charlie has stunned audiences with her smooth riffs and deep heartfelt tone giving them an experience matched to none. Beginning as a songwriter, Charlie quickly noticed she had a voice to match the simple clever lyrics she was writing. Charlie gained an audience by showcasing her songs through middle school, high school and church performances in her hometown of Akron Ohio. In the fall of 2016 Charl ... ie spread her wings and auditioned for The Voice and was chosen as a first round pick to appear on the show broadcasting. With the support of her friends and family she stood in front of a live studio audience, Pharrell Williams, Christina Aguilera, Blake Sheldon, and Adam Levine singing the timeless hit by Janelle Monet, “Tightrope”. While she wowed the audience, it was not enough to get her to the next round.

In the summer of 2016, Charlie left her hometown and moved to the bright lights and big city of Las Vegas. Since being on the West Coast Charlie has teamed up with long time friend, Recording Artist / Producer Analog LUST. Analog LUST, a recent graduate of the Los Angeles Film School was eager to create a new sound and they immediately got to work on Charlie’s upcoming EP “Saturn”.

Experience

Since moving to Las Vegas NV, Charlie has been able to gain a residency at a very popular vegan restaurant called “Vegenation” The terms for the residency were every 3rd Sunday for three months from 12pm-3pm PST. Charlie has also sang and played at countless other venues in Las Vegas such as “The Bunkhouse Saloon”, “Artisan Hotel and Boutique”, as well as “Container Park in Downtown Las Vegas” and “St. Jude’s Ranch for Children”.
