I have been singing for as long as I can remember but have always been a shy girl to perform in front of people. In the past 3-4 years I have gotten over my shyness and have really come out of my shell and now have the confidence required to perform and expression my emotion through my love of singing. I have performed at a number of events such as, open mic nights, wedding anniversaries, for a fist dance song at a wedding, I have also performed on stage and in front of judges when I've auditioned for a number of opportunities. My style of song is primarily old and new school R&B, hip-hop, pop ... /charts and mainstream music. I have a lot of influences from various different genres of music, growing up I listened to artists such as Beyonce, Whitney Houston, TLC to artists like Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera and Avril Lavigne.
I have such a passion to better myself and my singing ability, so I welcome the opportunity to get involved with various different projects that could help me reach my goal of becoming a worldwide star. Read More

Biography

I'm a North Yorkshire girl from Harrogate / Leeds with big dreams! Growing up I always knew I wanted to be a singer and that it was something I absolutely loved doing, however I was such a shy girl that never had the confidence to sing in front of people. I thought that I wasn't good enough or that people would laugh at my dreams. Through-out school when teachers would ask you what you wanted to be, and they told you to have realistic dreams... I didn't know what else I was passionate about other than music so I could never answer their questions. Everyone kept telling me that I couldn't be a ... singer and that the likelihood of making it was so slim so I might as well forget that dream. My biggest regret was listening to that and missing out on years of music because I was too busy 'getting a real career'... But for the past few years I really have been taking my music seriously and I'm making up for lost time!!

Experience

I have sang at open mic nights in Leeds where I sang a set of 5 songs: Years and Years, Bruno Mars, Fugees, En Vogue and Adele.
I have performed at a wedding anniversary party, where I sang an Alicia Keys song as requested.
I have performed at a wedding where I was asked to sing the bride and grooms first dance song which was a great honour as they were close friends
I will also be performing at my best friends wedding.
I have auditioned for the X-Factor and for the Voice where I have performed at a pre audition, and also infront of judges.
All these experiences have definitely bettered ... me as an artist and have helped me gain valuable experience performing and developing my skills. Read More
