Biography

Jo has been performing professionally for over 12 years.
Starting as vocalist in local acoustic band 'Push', performing around the country in pubs and bars and also at parties and events.
After, Jo went on to working in various Holiday Parks in the UK, including Searles Holiday Resort in Hunstanton and Scallywags show bar at Fantasy Island, Skegness. At these, she was part of the resident entertainment teams, singing and performing nightly. During the Winter when the seasons were finished, Jo took part in Christmas Spectaculars and Pantomimes.
After this, Jo then moved on to solo singing/g ... igging at holiday parks, pubs, clubs for lots of events and to mainly Wedding singing.
Jo has been a wedding singer now for about 8 years, singing brides down the aisle, singing laid back sets for drinks receptions and getting the wedding guests up and dancing in the evenings. She loves every aspect of being able to contribute to a small part of a couples special day.

Acting Experience

I received both a*'s in both Gcse and A level Drama and Theatre Studies.
2008 I was part of the Boomerang Theatre Company and toured an original play/musical' 'Bucket head ' around Australia. It was written by Alun Bliss and Peter Strudwick.
I'm 2011 I was part of a production company' Purple Dreams' who toured several original plays around the country.

Meet the Act

I am a wife and a mummy to 3 beautiful girlie's, 9, 2 and 6 months old. They are my world and they love listening to mummy singing. (at least that's what they tell me). I am now a full time mum in the day and professional singer come evening.
Before my youngest two children, as well as singing I was once a qualified dental nurse, then a palliative care Nursing Assistant (end of life) and I also begun my adult nursing degree,but fell pregnant with my middle girlie.
Safe to say I'm a 'people person.'
I love to entertain and put smiles of people's faces. That's why I enjoy wedding sing ... ing so much. Just to be a small part of someone's special day means so much to me. It's a very special job.
