Description

Magdalena Suruło-saxophonist, vocalist and also violinist. She graduated from National Primary Music School in Krzeszowice ,violin class, and National Secondary Music School ,saxophone class. Later she studied business English and HR management at Jagiellonian University in Cracow.
She worked in a bank for 5 years but her artistic soul didnt let her do the job for longer. She chose what she truly loves-music. She was the organizer of the international jazz workshops in Krzeszowice. In the meantime she was going wild on the dance floor, practising ballroom dance,salsa and bachata.
In 201 ... 6 she flew to Abu Dhabi for her first contract. Since then things have got up steam: Dubai, Germany, the Maledive Islands etc.Magda is still polishing her skills,though.She has been taking lessons with experienced and prestigious musicians and music teachers: Jerzy Główczewski, Maciej Sikała, Adam Wendt, Sundar Viswanathan, Kaja Karaplios, Ewa Niewdana-Hady, Sibel Kose. She takes active part in music workshops and cooperates with the leading musicians such as Frank Parker, Piotr Orzechowski, Bogdan Hołownia.
Magda has started her own duo KarMa, performing mainly cover versions of well known songs, she also plays in the family jazz duo”Black Coffee”,Big Swingin Band-a big band, George Band. She works with many event bands in Poland. Read More
