Biography
About Mawgan
Mawgan is a Professional Musical Theatre Performer and Professional Singer based in East Devon.
Having always loved performing from a very young age, Mawgan attended singing lessons and her local dance school throughout her childhood.
She went on to attend Pattison College in Coventry from the age of eleven, a prestigious performing arts school. It was there her passion grew even more. She spent her teen years performing all over the Midlands.
She graduated from the Midlands Academy of Dance and Drama with a Level 6 extended Diploma in Musical Theatre as well
... as a distinction for the Madd College Musical Theatre Diploma.
She has a vast array of performing experience in the many different genres. She notably sang vocals behind West End leading lady Kerry Ellis in her most recent tour. She has also played lead roles in musicals throughout her training, such as Sister Act, The Drowsy Chaperone, Seussical, 42nd Street and Assassins. She has starred as a featured vocalist in multiple productions throughout the years. She has experience in singing at church events and funerals as well. Notable theatres she has performed at include:Her Majesty's London;Leicester Square Theatre;Birmingham Symphony Hall and The Nottingham Playhouse to name but a few.
She is also an experienced actress. She is a cast member with Candlelight Murder Mystery performing loosely scripted comedy Murder Mystery nights across the South West.
She recently just finished a run in The Polar Express at Seaton Tramway for Warner Bros Event and Rail Events ltd. She played a Dancing Chef. This was a fabulous interactive show for children featuring all the characters from the iconic movie. Mawgan was a featured dancer/singer and improv player throughout the whole interactive experience.
In the Summer of 2020, Mawgan will join the Fred Olsen MV Black Watch as a lead vocalist/dancer with their show team for Mirage Shows and Productions.
Mawgan currently sings all over the South West of England. She performs at bars, restaurants and social clubs. As well as Holiday parks, Theatres and Private Events like weddings, parties and funerals. She is available for a specialised vintage event as well, perfect for Gatsby parties and 1940s events.
Mawgan is available for hire as an singer for cabaret, funerals, background lounge music and other events.She is a versatile vocalist with repertoire ranging from musical theatre classics to pop.
