Description

Frank’s an entertaining, smooth, and experienced Compere / MC who loves hosting gala dinners, awards events, black tie events, fundraisers, conferences and more, throughout Scotland and the rest of the UK.
When Frank's not using his voice to entertain or provide his warm Scottish vocal quality to corporate presentations, theatre announcements, answering services and training videos and so on, he’s a supporting artiste / extra on TV and film productions.

Biography

Frank started off in the Royal Air Force Police and has enjoyed a number of careers including his most recent as a Health and Safety Advisor. His experience in teaching First Aid, Manual Handling, Fire Safety, etc., does not go to waste.
As a hobby, Frank enjoyed his time in a local volunteer rescue team, trained to conduct missing person searches, mud rescue, high-angle rope rescue, Swiftwater rescue and more. Latterly, Frank is a member of the local Rotary club and enjoys being a member of the Royal British Legion (Scotland) Riders Branch where he helps raise funds for veteran charities, ... whilst having fun on a motorcycle too.
Whilst attending a Maritime Volunteer Service meeting, someone mentioned his vocal tone and suggested he becomes a voiceover. That someone turned out to be ‘high-up’ in the BBC in Cambridge.
After intensive training from a variety of professional sources, Frank hasn’t looked back.

From the moment I first approached Frank right through to after the event, he was professional, deeply empathetic to us as a family who were using his services for a Fundraising Charity event that was very personal to us, consistently listened closely to what we needed and followed our brief to the letter. He added a great deal of professionalism to the event which was a black tie ball at The iconic Old Course Hotel in St Andrews and as I say a further layer of empathy, that shone through during our meetings and on the night. He was highly professional, completely read the tone of the event and audience and did a fantastic job as MC. We also asked him to run our Live Auction, which he managed superbly. I would highly recommend him for any future events such as these.
