Description
Fremantle offers services to many venues. Live shows at private parties, corporates parties, weddings, county fairs, cruise ships, amphitheaters, beach events, social clubs, bars/lounges, city events, and others.
Fremantle provides a live show that sounds just like the original band from Australia. We focus on the early years of the band which includes their first five albums and the live album put out several years after the death of Bon Scott. We also plug in several songs from their following albums.
Fremantle has been playing together for over five years. The present lineup is the strong
... est and most powerful sound Fremantle has ever produced to date. Playing venues all around South Florida, Fremantle presents the most prolific sound in the southeast U.S. of any band emulating the hard rock sound of AC/DC.
Larry Knealing playing the sound of Angus, hitting every note and blasting out the tunes with blistering forte Angus himself would be proud of. Add to that the powerful rhythm produced by Jason Evans performing the other half of the unique duo as Malcolm. Rock screams “BON” like no other can. Stage antics and dress code aside, the voice is so close you have to do a double take just to make sure. The rhythm section produces the powerful bottom and beat that distinguishes it from all others. With Lorenzo on bass keeping your heart pounding and head banging just like Cliff. While, Michel as Phil, ties it all together with the crushing beat and synchronized timing that makes AC/DC the legends they are.
Our shows last at least two hours depending on the venue and agreement in place for that show. We do not skimp on the entertainment factor either. You will get loud, raw, and powerful rock-n-roll music the way it was meant to be played. Audience participation is encouraged and we love when you sing along and are louder than us. That just makes us play harder and stronger. In your face AC/DC style.

Biography
Fremantle came as the brain child of one, Andy Panik, original bassist for The Rock City Angels. During a practice one night, Rock started singing the songs in the style of Bon Scott. Panik was really impressed by the tone and range that Rock was able to sustain in order to sound just like Bon Scott. Several months later Rock told Panik he was going to start an AC/DC band. Panik was pretty interested in the idea of the project and stated that it should be called “Fremanlte”. Rock laughed and then really pondered the idea for quite a while, “who the hell would know what Fremantle means?
... All the AC/DC tribute bands have been using a song title or some kind of reference to the band and songs as their name. Even Rock was in a band called “Bon Fire”. But then again, we’re talking about two guys who are quite witty and not totally right in the head either. Sooo, Fremantle was born! Circa November 2015.
It took several more months to get the idea going and many calls were made to former members of Bon Fire and other musicians but without success. The idea was about to be scrapped but with one last call, Rock phoned his old friend Larry Knealing and put the idea to him and asked what he thought about it. Larry thought it might be a good thing and asked for a set list. A few more months passed and Larry accepted the idea and they got the ball rolling.
Rock went on a recruiting mission and got several interested musicians to hear the idea. They got some musicians in the studio and started practicing some songs. Some musicians just didn't have a grasp on the whole idea and were let go. Others didn't bother to waste anymore of their time with the project and left. "It was really frustrating at first" said Rock, but after a while he did some local reviewing of some cover bands and came across a guitarist from one of his favorite local bands and asked if he would be interested in joining the project which he did. So now the plan was on track to seek out a bassist.
Lorenzo was an AC/DC guru, he knew a shit load of songs inside and out and was a great fit for this project. This lineup continued for the next seven months until the drummer left the group. Unfortunately, the project was again off course leading to open auditions to fill the void. It took about a month to find the right guy to add to the mix and complete the band.
Michel (Mike) was a drummer in an AC/DC band in his home town and really had the groove down pat. It was an exceptional match for the band and the project headed in the right direction and right on course.
Throughout the next few years the band played many shows. Several members left and after changing faces and sets, the band has now been blasting their way through tons of shows all around south Florida.
The music of AC/DC as performed by the Bad Boys of Broward. While many others imitate, we authoritate. Fremantle is a collection of musicians dedicated to sounding as close to AC/DC as possible. While looks may not be everything, the sound is most important. Listen to Larry's blistering guitar as he moves up and down the fretboard duplicating Angus' riffs and every note. While Jason crushes out the everlasting accompaniment that pulls it together with intense force. Adding bottom is Lorenzo with the fearless bass skills matching that of Cliff. Completing the rhythm section is Mike on drums with the crushing force that bleeds the music into one powerful unit. Rock on vocals perfecting the unique and scouring voice that only Bon Scott himself can do. When you put all this together you get FREMANTLE.
So there you have it, the short story of Fremantle, five guys trying to give the people something they want. Loud, raw, and powerful rock-n-roll music, AC/DC style.

Experience
Fremantle has been playing together for six years beginning November 2016. Having played a myriad of shows all across Florida. With so many shows under our belt, we have had great success entertaining the populace throughout our tenure. We are very proud of our sound and have performed at so many venues and we eagerly look to add to that success and show you just how good we really are. Our experiences have given us great insight and continue to help us improve on our live performances. We also have several original songs that we have performed. No one realized that it was our material as we c ... ontinue to be asked "What album is that song from?" To keep it short and sweet, if you want the best, here we are!
Previous Clients
The Paladium in Margate, Florida... Over a three hour show. The audience refused to let us leave after our initial sets. They kept requesting songs and we kept right on playing. Deep cuts included, played almost five complete albums.
JD's Lounge in Coral Springs, Florida... "We just can't get enough of these guys, they are so powerful and so good!" quoted the owner of the establishment. Pretty much like our home bar. We play there about once every quarter year. The crowd is rowdy and ready for kick ass action.
Kelsey Theater in Lake Park, Florida... Opened for the "KISS Alive" show. We were
... asked and booked to do several shows of our own. Musical director couldn't believe what he was hearing. "I actually thought it was a recording and they were lip syncing. Damn these guys are great."
