Acting Experience

Cherie has been an actor since 1970 - performing in shows and in variety groups in three states. She specializes in comedic character roles and she's quick on her feet in improvisational settings. She Directs and writes scripts as well, and has worked professionally as a Costume Designer in Education and for private theatre companies.

Modelling Experience

Winner of the Television Commercial Reading Trophy at the Western Hemisphere Modeling Competition in Las Vegas, Nevada, 1977. Cherie has been a spokesperson for varied videos and presentations.

Grandma Mermaid broadcasts from her Lair under the ocean. As the First Ambassador of Merlandia she tells MerMyths - which are retellings of Drylander stories and traditions from the Merfolk perspective. With music and songs on harp and guitarlele and puppet visitors, your audience of all ages will enjoy this visit under the sea! She also shares her knowledge of "MERine Biology" in workshops designed to increase love and care of all water creatures and oceans everywhere.
