Hello Dear Sir and Madame,
Do you need someone who is able to create a really good atmosphere where people want to join
in, clap, sing along and get up to dance? Then Minko Minkov-Mike is your man with his deep
rich voice and driving rhythm.
Mike offers a combination of two concepts: the first where he plays as a traditional troubadour
with an acoustic electric guitar and sings as he does in the Dickens Pub in Drammen and The
Scotsman in Oslo. The second concept is for parties and dances where Mike uses his own
recorded backing tapes to accompany his guitars,voic
... e,piano and harmonika.
Minko has 20 years experience behind him as a troubadour abroad and prior to that he played
in dance bands throughout Europe. This wealth of experience playing "live" in close contact
with his public is the basis for his choice of repertoire.
The repertoire is based on country, blues, rock and pop songs from the 60's and 70's. Beatles,
Rolling Stones, CCR, Eric Clapton, The Eagles, Smokie, Dire Straits, Bruce Springsteen… to
name a few.
Minko Minkov-Mike is a trained pianist and guitarist and is a very versatile musician. Playing
guitar,piano,harmonika and singing.
He also developed a “One Man Band”, where I play pop, rock, Latin, jazz and evergreens –
100% live!
