Show Description

Hi my names Rick. I am a professional, reliable Vocalist and Guitarist who performs the Big Pop/Rock hits.
I am originally from West Yorkshire and moved down to London to write and perform music in 2004.
My main aim at any show is to keep the crowd on their feet with songs ranging from current crowd pleaser`s Bruno Mars, Ed Sheeran, Jess Glynn, Olly Murs, Michael Buble to classic favourite`s by Coldplay, Oasis, The Killers, The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Rod Stewart, Arctic Monkeys. I am always willing to learn a new song for a show. If you would like to hear a favorite played at the even ... t do let me know. I do also like to discuss the set with clients before hand to ensure the right songs are chosen and the right tone is set for your event.
I am also able to DJ at your event if required. This option will generally save you money in the long run as opposed to paying for a musician and a DJ.
Equipment Sound/PA
I would just like to add a small note in regards to equipment, which I think is a huge part of any performance. For me personally to look and sound my best, I decided I needed to have the cutting edge gear to ensure my shows are epic for the audience. For a PA, I use a Bose L1 model 2. It delivers immaculate clear sound and from my point of view is cut above all other PA systems.
Lighting
If I`m going to sound the best I better also look my best! I have recently purchased the Chauvet Freedom Stick lighting pack. Check out the link below and visualise how this would look at your event.

Great guy, reliable, got the party going with just the right interaction with audience, has a very good Bose sound system. Best of all was nothing was too much trouble... specifically learned a few songs for the occasion and added them to his reportoire! He will certainly be getting a few more bookings in Essex!

Rick was booked through last minute.com by friends at late notice. To hear that Rick was excited about doing the event was great to hear and when he arrived with flowers and a card I knew we were on to a winner. Rick was very polite and engaging as well as very accommodating with the songs he sung. He also dj'd playing every tune requested by the birthday girl. The night was a complete success and Rick was instrumental to the outcome. The crowd loved it and I genuinely think Rick really enjoyed his time too. I would definitely recommend Rick to anyone having a party or hosting an event.

Thank you Rick for making my 40th birthday party extra special, you were very accommodating and played every song requested and went with the flow of the party, the singing was great and really got everyone up dancing. I could not of asked for a better DJ or singer. Thank you again.

Experience

I have been playing live for the past 20 years in various original and cover bands playing on the same bill as Daft Punk, The White Stripes, Plan B, Klaxons, Kaiser Chiefs and direct support to Eliza Doolittle. I have toured America and the majority of Europe and Thailand between 2012 and 2016. I also have extensive studio recording and live experience working with original artists.
