Biography

A comedian, author, actor, hip hop improviser, and producer, Allan is a little all over the place, literally. He has performed in festivals, clubs, and colleges across the country, most notably opening for Keegan-Michael Key in Detroit. (It was a lot like Baltimore.) Even though Allan lost his Dad at a young age, he mastered the “dad joke” and wrote an entire book of them. Featuring 187 pages of original jokes, Daddy Issues was a #1 new release on Amazon. After not being on stage at all during the pandemic, Allan lost his mind and recorded an hour-long comedy special on Father's Day 2021. ... When I'm not telling jokes I'm gaming, working out, or hanging with my wife and new baby girl! I got started over 10 years ago by taking improv classes at the DC Improv, shortly after I cofounded the troupe laffrican americans (I was the only white one). We were in high demand until some dumb drama with a girl caused us to broke up. After that I became self reliant and went all in on stand-up. Before Covid hit I was a full time comedian and producer for 3 years, hosting over 200 shows a year. Giving myself (and others) stage time really helped me refine my craft.
