Biography

Ever since I was a young kid I loved entertaining other people. Being able to bring joy, laughter and excitement to others with my humor and ridiculous antics felt like a sort of super power to me. I would get an adrenaline rush from it.
Ernie Coombs, known more famously as Mr. Dressup, and Shari Lewis were a huge influence on me as a child. Their shows helped shaped my creativity, helped expand my imagination, and showed me how to find adventure in everyday life.
I find it really healthy to laugh at myself. To be Danny Kazam is to be a beautiful idiot. It's about getting to the core of ... what makes me who I am and keeping my inner child alive, while having the chance to encourage children to expand their imaginations, and to believe in themselves, no matter their situations, or how different they are.
My goal is to use my gifts and talents to inspire and create wonderful lasting memories for children and families wherever I perform. I'm committed to providing outstanding service and top quality entertainment. I've created magic for other magicians, and I'm also a song writer. I studied acting at Studio Sound Stage in Toronto, Ont. and have a background in both theatre arts and child development. I'm originally from Montreal, but now make my home in Lumsden, Saskatchewan with my wife, Bonnie, and our two Sons. I've been performing full-time specializing exclusively in children and family entertainment since 2010. I am also a proud Lions Club Member, and work part time at my local long term seniors home. Experience

Danny began his journey into the world of magic when he was 38 years old. His interest peaked after watching David Blaine perform on t.v. He began part-time but in 2013 Danny embarked on a full time journey which has been both rewarding and successful. Danny's first inspirations come from Ernie Coombs (Mr. Dress-Up), Shari Lewis and Lamb Chops, and Magic Tom (Auburn) He has performed in numerous stage productions, appeared in a milk commercial, and was an extra on Night Heat t.v. series.

Danny Kazam was one of the featured entertainer's for ReginaCadabra, and opened up for Canada celebrity and t.v star Eric Leclerc. He has performed all across Saskatchewan and some parts of Western Canada performing for Kids Expo's, Canada Day festivals, fairs, fundraisers, and so much more. Acting Experience

Danny has several years of acting experience. He studied at Studio Sound Stage in Toronto. Danny especially loves the theatre, and missed a chance to play his hero, Louis Riel in the stage play, The Trial Of Louis Riel.

Since Danny's arrival in Saskatchewan, he has raised the bar on quality children entertainment. Juggling nearly 200 shows a year throughout the province, his schedule within Saskatchewan usually prevents him from taking gigs beyond its borders. However, Danny is more than willing to accommodate such requests if his calendar permits.
Danny's impact on magic in Saskatchewan is worth mentioning. Upon his arrival in Saskatchewan, he discovered there was no magic club or fellowship with other local magicians. So, he founded the Saskatchewan Magicians group, which eventually led to the revitaliza ... tion of the Local IBM (International Brotherhood Of Magicians) Regina Ring 309.
Danny, being the innovator he is, was the first to pioneer province-wide library themed shows, holiday themed shows, magic workshops, anti-bullying shows, and magic day camps. He is not just a magician but a comedian, puppeteer, ventriquist, character actor, and song writer, who composed his own extremely catchy theme song, "Get Your Magic On," which you can listen here under "Audio", and has contributed unique magic effects for fellow magicians.
