We all really enjoyed the magic. Everyone had a favourite trick, which meant that all of your magic was equally good! Everyone kept chatting after you had gone - they had to be reminded by the management that they wanted the room back! It was wonderful how everyone got on. It must have been your ice breaking!

Meet the Act

I bought my first book on magic when I was 12 from the school book club in the good old days of paper catalogues called 'How to be a Conjuror'. It was great because whilst it was aimed at children it was not childish. I stumbled across more really good books & joined my local Magic Circle well over 20 years ago and immediately began performing professionally though I had performed a lot as a hobby to family & friends by then.
I love 'close up' magic because you get such strong reactions from people and you are literally performing right under their noses. I love the opportunity to interact an ... d ad lib, which I do a lot as I'm a fairly comedic performer. Magic marries with my other love - comedy. Although not a comedian, I do perform in a light-hearted amusing style. My stage and comedy show is full of light-hearted jesting and amusement. I love to amaze AND amuse.
