Biography

Honey & Hutch is a Soul/Pop acoustic duo comprised of seasoned performers, Rachel Beasley and Derek Hutchinson. Both members have performed professionally for many years, but have formed a performing duo of their own! H&H play covers from classic artists such as the Beatles & Bob Seger, to modern country, soul, and pop music. With skillful vocal melodies and harmonies, solid rhythm accompaniment, and great stage chemistry, Honey & Hutch are ready to rock any casual and formal live show environments!

Meet the Act

Rachel Beasley and Derek Hutchinson met at the School of Rock in Carmel, IN where they both are instructors. Rachel (vocal instructor) and Derek (guitar instructor) also have the unique opportunity at their job to coach children on how to form and play in a band. Not only do they believe they have the best day jobs in the world, they also agree that it has made them better musicians throughout the years. Working as music teachers has broadened their musical spectrums in ways that can only be achieved while working with a wide variety of young and explorative minds.
Rachel and Derek are also ... members of The Indigos, a 7-12 piece Funk/Pop band based out of Indianapolis, IN.
