Meet the Act
Affectionately know as the "South Dallas Mayor", Jason Davis is a tenor saxophonist, composer, and producer who is currently recording his first full-length album as a solo artist. It's about groove-based music with a group sound that supports and encourages movement.
It all started when...
Jason Davis grew up in Dallas and began his musical career in 1984. He was classically trained as a clarinetist, but as his love for music grew, he craved more jazz-style training. He found that training in gospel and blues roots. The sunglasses have become a trademark for his onstage presentation.
... He will customize the entertainment for your needs and budget. When you hire him you have hired the very best. There is no musician that can adjust as quickly and efficiently as he. It's his sensitivity to the moment. Jason has performed for almost 40 years in public. He aims to give you a great production at a practical cost.
