Description

Justin Pierce and his Dallas Jazz Band have performed together for more than 15 years for weddings, corporate events, and celebrations in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex.
Justin is currently pursuing a Doctor of Musical Arts degree at the University of North Texas in Denton, TX, where he also earned a Master's Degree in Jazz Studies and served as lead alto saxophonist in the One O'Clock Lab Band.
As a saxophonist and woodwind performer, Justin has performed with: The Temptations, The O'Jays, Wayne Newton, “The Rat Pack Is Back” Vegas tribute show, and local productions of “Footloose” ... , “Seussical the Musical”, “The Drowsy Chaperone”, “Grease”, “Fame”, and “Working”.
The Dallas-Fort Worth-based Justin Pierce and his Dallas Jazz Band can also vary in size to accommodate the size and budget of your event. Saxophone and piano provide an intimate, relaxed setting for the evening for a small rehearsal dinner or get together at your home. Instrumental jazz trio is an excellent choice for cocktail hour or grand opening events. For a wedding reception, corporate party, or Christmas party, the full jazz group, complete with vocals, piano, bass, and drums will keep them dancing all night!
If you live in Houston, Austin, or Oklahoma City, the Justin Pierce Jazz Band is willing to travel up to 500 miles from the Dallas-Fort Worth area to make your event swing!

Biography

Dr. Justin Pierce is a performer, recording artist, and teacher. Justin has performed with GRAMMY award-winning artists, playing saxophone, clarinet, and flute to audiences across the United States and internationally. His performance and recording credits include: The Temptations, The Glenn Miller Orchestra, Doc Severinsen, The O'Jays, and Wayne Newton. In addition, he has led Justin Pierce's Dallas Jazz Band for the past sixteen years, performing jazz and standards. His jazz bands have performed for hundreds of weddings and corporate events in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex.
