Description
As an experienced professional pianist/keyboard player, I can provide an exceptional service to my clients. I'm an excellent sight-reader so I can perform any sheet music you put in front of me with a high level of accuracy. I'm familiar with music from all major musical genres, such as Classical/Rock/Funk/Soul/Pop/Dance/Jazz/Musical Theatre etc. I can improvise freely and creatively in many musical styles and I can program my keyboard to recreate any sounds to give an authentic rendition of a song.
Experience
I'm classically trained with a degree in music from King's College London. I have 15 years experience in the industry, I have performed in a variety of capacities. I have been a keyboard player in various resident bands onboard cruise liners. In addition, we backed visiting cabaret/tribute acts such as 'Jeff Dingle as Bruno Mars' and so on. I have been a keyboard player (and sometimes, musical director) in many musical theatre productions, such as Les Miserables, West Side Story and Whistle Down the Wind, to name a few. In addition, I have been a cocktail pianist for wedding receptions and res ... taurants. I have taught piano and music theory lessons for 5 years in schools and people's homes.

I had my first piano lesson when I was 5 years old. I come from a musical family. I grew up West Somerset. My other interests include astrophysics, art and cars. I'm moved around and travelled abroad through work, but I always come back to the South West.
