Biography

Mario Manzini was born in the Bronx in New York City not far from where movie actor Tony Curtis who played Houdini in the movie,was born and raised.
Mario saw a documentary on Houdini on TV when he was 4 years old and it effected him after watching old news clips of Houdini escaping from Police handcuffs and leaping off a bridge and escaping while under water, seeing Houdini escape from a strait-jacket while suspended upside down 100 feet in the air.
He wanted to be like Houdini when he grew up and he practiced escaping from rope ties for many years until he was able to also esca ... pe from Police handcuffs and other restraints.
He also got interested in magic and added that to his act. Mario performed at all of the major theaters in New York City as well as at Madison Square Garden and Radio City Music Hall.
He now performs at hundreds of Corporate events, Performing Arts Centers, Fairs, Festivals and other family venues through out the the USA, Canada and other countries.
