I perform in my act a variety of songs ranging from Jazz/ Swing to Musical Theatre. So far, I have performed in my local area, playing to restaurants for 3, 1/2 an hour slots. The reactions I've had from audiences have always been positive, and they have all enjoyed their evening of entertainment. In my current act, I sing songs from artists ranging from Andy Williams, Bobby Darin, Frank Sinatra, Robbie Williams etc...
I can tailor your evening of entertainment to your needs. My sets include a wide range of songs, ranging from Jazz/ Swing to Musical Theatre.

Highton takes his talents to a higher level and is one of the best young voices in the am-dram circuit. Riding on the success of his flamboyant performance as Kipp in the company’s Half a Sixpence, Highton plays Seymour with the right level of vulnerability and ambition.

James Highton, yet again takes the lead role as the wimpy, zero to hero Seymour, I’ve always professed that James has one of the best voices for musical theatre locally, and he again proved this with wonderful clarity and power. As soon as i knew that James was involved in this production, I just knew that he would be Seymour, A brilliant, fun role which James excelled in.

Stepping into the title role of Kipp was James Highton. To say he owned the stage is an understatement. He took the show to a whole new level! Highton was made for this part – charming, comical, captivating, you wonder how the young actor managed to remember all his musical numbers. Half a Sixpence delivers the feel good factor, and it was a pleasure to see an old musical resurrected by a local Loughborough company. Definitely worth more than Half a Sixpence. Go see it!

Meet the Act

I began performing at 8 yrs old in a local production of Oliver! Since then I have gone on to perform in a wide range of straight plays, musical theatre shows, pantomimes, holiday parks, as well as touring my own individual cabaret set. My father has always been a performer, and it was growing up around him and his work inspired me to go further in the field myself.
