My husband and I hired Melody Avenue for our wedding based on there awesome promo video and I really wanted a band with sax. In person the band where EVEN better and we were so happy. All of our guests had a great time and were up on the dance floor the whole night. Micki's voice is truly outstanding and even her videos don't show just how good she really is. I couldn't believe it when she sang 9 - 5 and sounded EXACTLY like Dolly Parton. She and the band kept our guests entertained the whole night and if you're thinking about booking these guys - just do it! You will not regret it. Thank you so much Melody Avenue!

My partner and I spent ages looking for the perfect band for our wedding and even though we live in London and the band are from Liverpool, as soon as we saw them we knew we had to book them. Let me just say - they did NOT disappoint. Micki sang our first dance song "All Of Me" so beautifully and we'll remember that special moment forever. After that the party really started and everybody danced all night long. We loved that the band included sax, as you don't always get that option with a smaller line up. The whole band were just incredible and great performers too. Micki's voice is literally one of the best I've heard live. Book them, you won't regret it!

Micki caught the attention of the world through her YouTube videos – which collected an astounding 7 million views. Micki's voice has been described as both alto and soprano by her vocal coaches due to her phenomenal range and ease in any key, style and genre. She performs a large variety of songs and genre's, from rock, pop, country and soul covering popular music from the 60's to the biggest upto date hits.
Micki regularly performs at weddings, pubs, restaurants and functions a ... s a solo artist, acoustic duo and with her function band, Melody Avenue. Micki also performs as a tribute act to Karen Carpenter & Cher and sounds remarkably like both to being a 'vocal chameleon' and natural mimic.

Meet the Act

I have loved singing for as long we I can remember! My parents noticed how good my voice was from a very young age so sent me to Sue Quin (Sad Cafe) to have vocal lessons when I was 11 years old. I trained with sue until 15 years and always wanted to be a singer.
In high school we had a project “what do I want to be when I grow up”. I thought of every single “sensible” option as I thought that classmates might laugh at me if I said a singer.
In the end though, there was nothing else I wanted to do - singing is my true calling so I had to pick that at my future job. (It went down ... great and nobody laughed haha!)
Since then I went to college to study singing and also LIPA for a year. I had been gigging live and professionally since the age of 15.
I am very blessed and fortunate that I get to sing for a living as it’s my true passion and I love entertaining people and making people happy! I have had the privilege of performing to hundreds of thousands of people via videos and gigs with my originals and covers projects.
