Dan's personality added to his great caracaturist service! We hired him for our wedding and everyone loved him and his drawings! He managed to get many people done within the 2 hour frame we booked him for (and was kind enough to remind the bride and groom to get one done!) and he was fast to respond to communications before the event. If anyone is looking for an authentic caracaturist - Dan is your man!

Meet the Act

How did i get started?
I started as a street caricature artist in Trafalgar Square, this was a fantastic introduction that was hard but also gave me all the skills i'd ever need later on as a full time proffessional caricature artist.
This is where i learned how to control a crowd, how to get the maximum amount of laughs from a small or large audience.
How to be confident in front of strangers, but not obnoxious.
How to attract people over without being overbearing and scaring them away. How to be entertaining, even when you could barely feel your fingers in January.
Before th ... is i trained as an animator at Newport University, this is where i learned the most basic skills of caricature to help us develop our character design skills and also become quicker animators.
This is where I realised that my love for caricature outweighed my love for animation.
Where am i now?
Since then I've performed all over the UK, and one of the greatest parts of my job is getting the chance to visit some of the most interesting and historic venues in the country.
What do I love about what I do?
So for me the best part about what i do is kind of cliché but true, i love making people laugh. I really enjoy the process of the roast, and enticing those around me to join in too.
I enjoy building up those that are nervous or worried and giving something to cheer people up.
And i also enjoy putting the spotlight on the mouth of the party, and giving everyone else around the chance to have a laugh at their expense.
In short my main goal is to entertain, and what is unique about caricatures is that the audience get to keep the entertainment and remember where they were on that day.
