as the best student of the generation. After master studies, Jela completed specialist studies
and became Specialist of the Music Art.
She participated in and won numerous awards from national and international competitions.

Jela recorded and released three albums for Serbian market, one for North American market (USA) and worldwide distribution via Warner Music Group and double CD released by Croatia records for Croatia and Slovenian market:
* In 2011 Jela recorded the album "Clash" published by PGP-RTS, on which Jela performed eleven compositions from the period of Bach, Ravel and Brahms, to the 20th century (Jimi Hendrix, The Beatles), for solo cello and symphony orchestra (producer Alexander Habich). Material from the album Jela has presented at numerous events as well as in television broadcasts where her performances have caused a positive response by music critics as well by wider audience.
Jela’s specific musical expression has attracted the interest of some of the known production companies and music agents such as Larry Hart (known for his work with Michael Jackson) and Mel Bush (manager of Vanessa Mae, David Bowie, Elton John ...).
One of the purposes of dealing with this kind of musical expression is bringing classical music closer to a wider audience, as well as drawing attention to the possibilities that the cello as the instrument provides.
In December 2014, Jela marked an important collaboration with the singer of the
legendary American rock band "Journey", with rock super star Arnel Pineda,
the duet for the song "Jingle Bells" which was well received by audiences around the world,
and the largest echo is made in the USA and Asia,
where the animated holiday video aired on MTV and MTV ASIA / MTV USA
as well as on the Nickelodeon channel.
Based on success of this duet single with Arnel Pineda,
Jela continued to work on material for 2015 Christmas album on which are eight tunes in house-dance arrangements for solo cello and symphony orchestra.
* The album “Christmas dreams” was released in USA in 2015 Christmas season, by Imagen Records and was distributed worldwide by Warner Music Group.
The main aim for Jela to come up with these two albums was to attract the attention of the auditorium which usually is not inclining towards classical music and she tried to build “fan base” which then will be slowly attracted to more complex classic and classic/contemporary music. Eventually, Jela was preparing herself and her followers for long awaiting third studio album “Searching for the magic (in) Cello” for which Jela co-wrote all of eight movements - levels which all together represent complex classical, classical/contemporary piece for cello and symphony orchestra. With this album, she intends to return to her musical roots
which are classical and contemporary classical music – place where she was always intending to be.
Music is followed by libretto that is telling the story of a young cellist who is dreaming about its magical cello when cosmic robbers steal that cello from young cellist’s dreams (movements I Dream and II Dream Robbers). What is happening next is that young cellist is starting to search for its magical cello and through deep space battles and ambushes tries to retrieve it from cosmic robbers (movements III, IV, V). Every movement is telling the basic emotion by its title. At the end, young cellist retrieves its magical cello and there is certain kind of “happy end” with movements “Ballad for hero”, “Victory” and “Back to serenity”.
Recording of this album with her symphony orchestra Jela Cello Power Symphony Orchestra is finalized in December 2018 and it is released in June 2019 by state owned label in Serbia PGP-RTS strictly for Serbian market and in December 2019 Croatia Records released double Jela Cello CD for Croatian and Slovenian market. Album is free to be released and distributed worldwide (except ex Yugoslavian region) through major labels and distributors.
