Biography

The Strays formed in 2016 after working together in larger ensembles abroad.
Michelle has been performing as a vocalist professionally for 13 years, working contracts in the Mediterranean, Canary Islands and the Middle East. She was part of a resident duo on a Thomson cruise and has worked the UK's leading ferries for the last 5 years.
Kaan is a multi instrumentalist and was part of an original 7 piece ska reggae band for 3 years, touring the UK before performing contracts in the Middle East and on ships across Europe.
The pair met on a music contract in Dubai where they played in a ... 5 piece band and continued working together in Bahrain as a trio. Thus, The Strays was born. Since then they have been entertaining audiences on land and over seas with classic hits from the 50's to now. They had the honour to play at the popular yoga festival 'The Soul Circus' last year in the UK and have been invited to play again this year.
The musical pair pride themselves on their diverse repertoire as it ranges from pop, blues and jazz through to rock, ska and reggae, giving everyone a piece of musical nostalgia. Read More
