Description

I am the feature violinist with the Emmy award winning production Benise and his dancers. We perform at Orpheum's, and large scale theatres across the USA and Internationally. Benise is a Spanish guitarist who performs tangos, flamenco, sambas, and salsa. Our configuration consists of 5 musicians, and 8 dancers.

Biography

           Natasha Ratz


Natasha Ratz is a classically trained Violinist who was born and raised in Vancouver Canada. She started her training  with the Royal Conservatory of Music at a very early age. By age 12, she was 1st Violinist with the Semihamoo Strings Orchestra for over half a decade. In her early 20's she attended Trinity Western University and studied for her BA in Music. While at TWU, she performed with the TWU Orchestra as 1st Violin for another 3 years. With a zeal to expand her musical skills, she joined a variety of bands ... . The David Anthony Project, was the first band she released an album with entitled "Time" in 2008. They performed live on CCTV, and live on 99.3 the Fox Radio station in 2008. She also toured in Canada with a world music band named Tambura Rasa. The band performed at music festivals in western Canada as well as movie premiers and concert halls in 2008/09. During this time she became the first violinist  in Vancouver to initiate freestyling with Djs in Clubs. A violinist playing a long side a dj in a night club was something unheard of at this time. She quickly claimed the spotlight and became the resident violinist for Bar None, Ginger 62, and Cabana Lounge. She performed with international Djs travelling between Vancouver, Whistler, and Australia from 2008-2014
In 2012, she performed with Dj.Sammy J and  opened for Bombs Away in Australia. Bombs Away is a very well known music group who recorded the song “Super Soaker” in 2011. Pandora's Heat was formed soon after this amazing performance. Pandora’s Heat was an all girl band, members including  Dj. Sammy J on decks, Amy Chase on vocals, and Natasha Ratz on violin. Pandora’s Heat performed in Cairns, Australia and their track "We won't stop" was signed to Inbed productions and  played on Queensland  Radio 105.7 in  2013. Natasha also performed with international Dj.Nyan Narin in Sydney Australia, also taking the stage at the Maitreya Festival with Trance Dj.Boy from Bornio in Melbourne in 2013.  
After leaving Australia she auditioned for the feature violinist part with Emmy Award winning Classical guitarist Benise in 2013. She got the part, but the tour was put on hold.
 
She is currently an artist  with El-live Productions since 2014, and has been performing at 5 star hotels in Asia for the past year and a half.  Natasha has been  performing  6 nights a week In High end hotels across Asia with a 7 piece international cover band. She toured twice in  Beijing, Korea, Indonesia, and Malaysia.  
Natasha is currently finishing her tour in Asia in early 2016. She will be relocating to Las Vegas to begin her tour in the US. Her tour will include performances with Bella Strings and also a tour with Benise in Istanbul Turkey in March.   Read More

I have been performing for many years all around the world. I've worked with many different bands and Djs. I'm looking forward to this coming year. I am finally on tour with Benise, and performing with Bella Strings in Vegas and around the USA.
