Biography

I am a professional sounding, bright, presentable Disc Jockey who has a strong professional approach to the D.J. business. I have the talent and creativity to produce a totally professional show / set and come up to speed faster than anyone I know, so I am a very quick learner too.
Better known as DJ. Melwyn (Da Muzik Machine), I have been mixing professionally since 2000 for the last 16 years and have live experience in India at 5 Star Hotels and Club venues like Tito’s Mambo’s, Sinq, Nine Bar, La Calypso & Vanilla Lounge, Ramada Beach Resort, Goa Marriot Resort, Taj Holiday Village Res ... ort, Park Hyatt etc., besides playing for Weddings, Private Parties, Dances, Beat Shows etc. I am regularly updated with records from time to time.
Having conquered the clubing circuit in Goa, India., from where I hail, I had shifted my base to Dubai, U.A.E, getting people to dance to my tunes with ease.
In Dubai, I was a resident DJ for the last 4 years at "The Premier" (Hyatt Regency, Dubai). Previously freelancing at various Clubs & Hotels like "The Club Tantra" Karama (earlier called Club UG), DJ’d at a high profile Fashion show at Dubai Municipality Club (covered by the local media), The Beach Rotana Hotel (Abu Dhabi), Deira Sheraton, Renaissance, Holiday Inn, Hatta Fort Hotel, Kempinski (Ivory Lounge), Le Meridien, Shangri-La Hotel, Media Rotana, Crowne Plaza, Marcopolo Hotel and a host of private parties & corporate events for Spinneys, Dulsco, ITS Logistics, St. Mary’s Church Dubai, Matrix Fabrics. etc..
Besides, I am used to playing on Denon, Pioneer, Numark, American Audio, Skytech and various other deejay players. I also have experience in setting up Professional PA Sound Systems & Stage Lights.
The kind of music and style I play is Reggae, Jazz, Blues, Country, Rock, Pop, Retro, Rock ‘n’ Roll, Hip-Hop / Reggaeton, Lounge, Chill-Out, Deep House, Minimal / Electro House, EDM, Trance, Hindi, Punjabi, Konkani, Arabic , German, Russian, Turkish and Portuguese.
