I am a trained singer of music from the baroque to contemporary period. I can sing oratorio and operatic arias, as well as spirituals. I am available to sing at all special events such as weddings, anniversaries, funerals, birthdays, graduations, and sporting events where the National Anthem is needed to be sung.

Biography

I began singing at 7 when I was accepted in a boy choir in my hometown of Dyersburg, Tennessee. I sang all through my early school years. I graduated from the University of Tennessee at Martin where I studied voice under John A. Mathesen. Shortly after graduating college, I moved to Anchorage, Alaska where I sang tenor with The Alaska Chamber Singers under the direction of Elvira Voth. I eventually moved back to Tennessee where I presently sing with Opera Memphis. I continued my training, as all singers do, with Carolyn Cansler, who worked with opera legend, Luciano Pavarotti, and with lo ... cal opera diva, Kallen Esperian.
