Biography

Thompson Entertainment was founded in 1995 and specializes in providing DJ, Emcee, Lighting and Photo Booth services for Weddings and Special Events. Larry Thompson Jr. began his journey in the business in 1995 by combining his desire to Entertain others with his passion for music. Today, over 70% of our business is due to word of mouth advertising.

Realized very late in the wedding planning process that we did indeed need a DJ. Larry had an opening, and was very flexible with working with us. The music at the reception was a little louder than we would have liked, and perhaps more oriented towards pop dancing than the group at the wedding was really into, but considering it was at the last minute and we didn't really give specific instructions I was overall quite pleased.

Although LJ the DJ specializes in Wedding Entertainment, LJ the DJ has performed for a variety of events including Corporate Events, Car Shows/Cruise-Ins, School Functions, Community Events, and provided sound re-enforcement for dance recitals and other performances. LJ the DJ's favorite moment was performing in front of over 700 Veterans for a Holiday Gala housed by the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs.
