Description

The act is either a solo jazz piano set with standard jazz repertoire and pop songs arranged in a jazz style. Most of the performance is improvised/arranged while the songs and melodies are still recognizable. Jack is able to sing and play the songs that have lyrics and also do a more pop based set depending on the audience. Jack's main attraction is that he is able to play to the audience that is in front of him and interact with the crown in a positive and energetic way.

Biography

Jack Marshall is a native of Lithuania and currently resides in south Mississippi. Jack holds the following degrees in music; Masters of Music in Choral Conducting from the University of Southern Mississippi, a Bachelors of Arts in Piano Performance from Mississippi University for Women and an Associates of Arts in Music from Arizona Western College. Jack has received numerous scholarships and awards from; The Chaminade Club (Jackson MS), USM Choral Department, MUW Piano Scholarship, Jazz player of the year 2010 and many more. Jack has performed in recitals and concerts all over the states inc ... luding the prestigious Carnegie Hall in New York City. Jack is trained in conducting and has lead numerous ensembles to successful performances. These days Jack is performing piano/voice and guitar with ensembles in the local area and also performing solo jazz piano sets in the south east.
