I'm a instrumentalist specializing in pop piano/keyboards, for solo performances I have a wide range of songs in my set list that I have built up over the years from a number of performances. Although I'd say my forte and my passion is playing piano ballads/chart hits my set lists contains a variety of genres from classics to musicals, jazz and many more. I originally come from an electronic keyboard background, so aside from playing piano instrumentals I also have good knowledge of playing in bands with a good ability of sightreading/improvising. Biography

I'm 21 years of age and graduated last summer with a first class honours from London College of Music where I have been studying on a 3 year pop performance and recording degree. I've been involved with music for many years but have been performing more heavily since starting university, where I have had opportunities to play at hotels and wedding receptions. Whilst at uni I have collaborated with other musicians and performed both within duos, bands and as a soloist. I am looking to go in to the performing industry now as a musician and I am particularly interested in working on board cruise ... ships either within a function band or as a cocktail pianist.
For my final year project I took the initiative to contact choirs from outside of LCM to be involved within both my performance and recording, I thought this would be an ideal opportunity with the vision that a choir would fit in perfectly with both the genre of my original music, which is primarily piano ballads and my theme which was based around the use of emotions within songwriting.
The London International Gospel Choir were very keen to be involved and from September 2017 to April 2018 we worked together on preparing for these projects, this has given me a lot of further knowledge and insight into working with others in the industry, behaving in a professional manner and also acting as a musical director. A lot of hard work, planning and organization went into this with regards to getting dates that everyone was free for rehearsals and I also had to provide scores and structured lyric sheets as well as the studio tracks and demo audios for all of the choir sections. The recording day also took a lot of preparation in order for the day to run smoothly, including preparing schedules in order for us to be efficient as we only had around 5 hours to record an entire 6 track Ep.
As well as my recording project I also gained essential experience from organizing my performance project which involved holding a public performance, this included:
- Choosing a suitable venue
- Getting together a band and organising the choir
- Rehearsing my material regularly and organizing this
- Designing a logo and other promo information, e.g brochures and social media events
I have also been a member of a band Two Penny Blue where I gigged heavily around the London circuit including at venues such as The Good Ship and The Dublin Castle. Within this, I had the opportunity of filming a music video as well as recording an EP at Livingston studios which was released on all mainstream platforms.
In December 2018 I was given the opportunity to perform two of my original songs at a charity gala ‘The Power of Love’ to raise awareness and money for the Terence Higgins Trust, this concert was held in London, Notting Hill at the Tabernacle in front of over 200 people.
