Biography

Charismatic musician with poetic touch, after her first solo recital at the age of twelve Patrizia Salvini gained recognition with audiences and music critics playing as a soloist in many cities in Europe and Middle East.
Recognized for her sensitive interpretations she is regularly invited to give recitals in important festivals in Italy, Germany, England.
She played as a soloist with the Orchestra del Conservatorio di Brescia, Orchestra Sinfonietta Italiana, Orchestra Pomeriggi Musicali in Milano and others.
Alongside her solo career, Patrizia’s passion for chamber music has led t ... o artistic collaborations with various artists such as Yulia Berinskaya, Alessia Sparacio, Gabriella Locatelli (singers) well as with the soloists of most prestigious orchestras such as Marco Zoni, Bruno Cavallo e Marco Scano (soloist at Teatro alla Scala), Enzo Caroli (flautist at Teatro la Fenice).
Her vast repertoire spans from baroque to modern and contemporary composers (Fedele, Ligeti, Rimoldi, Escaich, Rebora…), performing various premières.
Patrizia Salvini won the prestigious competition held by the Umanitaria in Milan, a competition reserved for the best students from the Italian Conservatoires, and come second (the first prize not assigned) at the International Piano Competition ‘C. Togni’ in Gussago, in “Piano and Orchestra” section.
In 2011 she was the overall winner of the International Competition “Academy Prize” in Rome.
She was a finalist at the Grand Piano Prix in Lyon and at the age of fifteen she is a laureate at the International Grand Prix in Rijeka.
From the age of six Patrizia received more than twenty first-prizes awards and special mentions in international piano competitions, including “Città di Stresa”, “Coppa pianisti d’Italia – Osimo”, Terzo Musica” winning also the special prize “A. Tavella for “the best young talent” , “M. Fortini – Bologna” winning the overall category, “J. S. Bach – Sestri Levante”, Castiglion Fiorentino” also winning FIDAPA prize “Federation of Business and Professional Women.
Patrizia recorded solo music by S. Rachmaninov for Meister Musica and in 2015 released her first solo CD “Romantic” with music by F. Chopin, R. Schumann and F. Liszt for Classica Viva.
With the violinist Franco Mezzena, she’s recording various albums dedicated to French and German composers for Luna Rossa Records.
In 2016 Patrizia was one of the co-protagonists in the short-film “Survey on six pieces of noisy life dispersed in a sultry summer” by the director Ilaria Pezone.
In 2017-2018 she’s pianist in residency in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
Thanks to her human and artistic qualities, Patrizia Salvini is regularly invited to take part as a jury member in many competitions, including International Rotary Competition for Music in Santhià, International Piano Competition “B. Bettinelli” in Treviglio, “Academy Prize” in Rome and National Piano Competition “J. Guerrero” in Toledo – Spain, just to name a few.
For many years, Patrizia has supported various humanitarian projects.
She graduated with honours and received a special mention and she achieved masters in Chamber Music and Piano Diploma held by M° Sergio Perticaroli with top marks cum laude at the prestigious National Academy Santa Cecilia in Rome. For this occasion she played in the major hall at “Parco della Musica” in Rome.
During her studies, Patrizia took advantage of the advice of acclaimed pianists in prestigious masterclasses held in MusicaRiva Festival, Villa Medici-Giulini in Briosco, Accadémie Internationale d’eté de Nice and the Universitat Mozarteum in Salzburg. Read More
