She appeared on TV shows such as The X Factor in 2006 and Stars In Their Eyes as the legendary Chaka Khan back in 2000. That same year, Linda had a huge hit with a Number One single called Night People, in Spain for Vale’ music.
Linda worked with Keith Strachan the composer for (Who Wants to be a Millionaire) on Blues Brothers meet the Soul Sisters and then continuing the tour with the show Sweet Soul Music singing Aretha Franklins greatest hits, both shows toured the UK she enjoyed an array of stage productions, starring as Sadie Fagin, Billie Holiday’s mother and a cameo role in the sa
... me show as Ella Fitzgerald and had the pleasure of working with Ella Fitzgerald’s personal costume designer who made my costumes for the production, The Billie Holiday story, which toured the UK and Ireland. Linda enjoyed playing the Fairy at Greenwich Theatre, and Camberley Theatre from 2007 to 2010.
Biography
Linda’s contract as a Featured Artist in 2010-2011 and 2012 playing the role of Mama Morton in the Broadway Production of Chicago Directed by Scott Faris on the Allure of the Seas, Royal Caribbean Cruise line. She had the pleasure of singing in various other shows around the ship including at the Captains Champagne Welcome Aboard Reception.
In addition, TV and film credits have meant that Linda was in a short film called Age Concern for the London Film Academy playing a principle role as Nurse Judy, 118 118 TV advert for ITV, a cameo role in Episode 5 of BBC2’s Beautiful People as Kei
... sha Camille, also worked with the National Film and Television School recording a series of comedy sketches.
The next TV project is for Big Talk Productions in a new comedy sitcom called Threesome, playing a Senior Nurse called Celia-Anne. Linda’s latest TV role was as a Presenter/Singer for a Pilot Game show for National Film and TV School and Sony TV. Linda has just completed recording an Episode of That’s English for the Spanish Ministry of Education. Linda played one of the Diva’s in Peter Pan cast at the Bristol Hippodrome 2011/2012, starring David Hasselhoff. Linda was very excited to be playing the lead role of Genie in Aladdin at The Corn Exchange, Exeter, Devon December 2012-2013.
Linda’s most recent projects include, a short film for the London Film Academy and at the Royal Shakespeare company in A Mad World My Masters, directed by Sean Foley.
Linda is delighted to have been at the Gordon Craig Theatre in their August 2014 summer production of Hairspray the Broadway production, as Motormouth Maybelle.
