Caitlyn is a full-time professional dancer and an insured member of both Equity and the Foundation for Community Dance. She has performed in Egypt, America, and England.
She has danced in music videos, at London's Park Lane Hilton and Dorchester hotels, at movie premiers, corporate events, restaurants, weddings, hen nights, nightclubs, balls, community festivals, bat mitzvahs, dance concerts, birthdays, fundraisers, university events and fashion shows.
As well as performing, Caitlyn has also lectured on the politics of Middle Eastern dance.
Caitlyn usually dances solo and often acco ... mpanies her recorded music with sagat (finger cymbals). She can also use props such as scimitar, veil, and Isis wings.

Biography

Caitlyn has taught and performed internationally, accompanied by musicians ranging from Middle Eastern bands Mazaj and Brothers of the Baladi to rapper Fat Joe. She has bellydanced on American television and in music videos for Kasabian and other artists and has performed at hundreds of venues, including the Dorchester Hotel, the Park Lane Hilton and Whitehall Palace.
Clients have included universities such as Oxford and Cambridge Universities, military institutions such as the Royal Air Force and Army, corporations such as Debenhams and Air France, as well as numerous nightclubs, restaurant ... s and private clients.
An elegant and versatile artist, Caitlyn is equally comfortable dancing solo or in a company, for an intimate audience or a banquet hall of hundreds.
Caitlyn is from a family of dancers and circus performers and has studied with some of the top bellydancers and instructors of Egypt, Turkey, Germany, America, and the U.K., and has taken courses in ballet, modern dance, Argentine tango, flamenco, dance history, and costume design. Read More
