-"The Incandescent": original and unique ground solo act
Duration: 5 minutes.
Special features: Original and unique act of its kind in the world. Beautiful design of a spherical, spinning, steel apparatus. Rare visuals combining balance, contortion, spinning dynamics and moving choreography.
Needs a minimum 8' x 8' (2.5m) clearance room on the ground (apparatus is approx. 6' (2m) in diameter) and a minimum height of about 11' (3.5m) (apparatus is approx. 7'6" (2m) tall).
It usually takes about 25 minutes to assemble it and 15-20 minutes to disassemble it. (It comes apart into 14 pieces)

-"Serpentine" on straps
Duration: 6 minutes.
Ideal ceiling height: 24 feet (7meters) or more.
Ideal flight and stage space needed approx. 20 x 20 feet (six meters) or more (act can me modified to 12' x 12' if necessary).
Special features: two straps can be transformed into two body loops. Integrates strength, flexibility and sensuality.
-"Vortex" on aerial hoop
Duration: 7 minutes.
Minimum ceiling height: 18 feet (5.5meters)
Ideal flight and stage space needed 15 x 15 feet (4.5meters) or more.
Special features: use of Chinese spinning carpet while airborne in the hoop. Mix of lyrical as well as very dynamic work.
-"Spiral Ignis": duo lyra act
Duration: 6 minutes
Minimum ceiling height: 20 feet (6 meters)
Stage space needed: 10 x 10 feet (3 meters) or more
Special features: Two female aerialists demonstrate symmetry, flexibility, and strength.
A technical rider is also available upon request.
*The two solo aerial acts require to travel with a personal rigger for the raising and lowering of the aerial performance by manual rope pull, no winch necessary. The only equipment we will need and are bringing are; the aerial hoop, straps, rope, pulleys and spansets.

Biography

Ekaterina(Katya) Arnaoutova is a third generation circus performer from a renowned Russian family. She was born in Moscow, Russia, but started traveling and working with her family at the age of two and a half. She began her career in the Great Moscow Circus. In 1990, she was one of the very first Russian performers to join Cirque du Soleil. She toured with two of their productions; Fascination and Nouvelle Expérience as a contortionist and character. Later on, Katya took part in the creation of Cirque du Soleil's Beatles Love in which she performed as an aerialist for over eight years, total ... ing approximately 4,000 shows. She has worked with famous entities like James Cameron and Pharrell Williams and performed for celebrities like Paul McCartney and Tom Hanks. Katya is currently an independent performer, coach, and choreographer as well as an acrobatic and technical consultant. Her two feature aerial acts are Vortex (aerial hoop) and Serpentine (aerial straps) and her newest original ground act on a unique apparatus she designed is The Incandescent. Katya is always working hard to push boundaries in the goal of keeping the circus arts thriving, innovating, and growing amongst new generations of performers.
